Lewisburg, PA has it’s very own Democratic primary for mayor! Taylor Lightman sits down with both David Heayn-Menendez and Kendy Alvarez and talks about the issues. They first cover their backgrounds, their reasons for running, and three things they’d change about the borough. Next, they play a game about their favorite things about the borough called “these are a few of my favorite things.” After this, we talk about housing and bike/ped policy. Lastly, we end on another game that envisions a future Lewisburg!
Here is the League Of Women Voters debate.
Hi Taylor. Great podcast! Welcome back! Follow up maybe address the HRO. I wrote a brand new one before my departure. I am also asked about it on council meeting April 20th. Has Mayor they will eventually be the tie breaker and sign the ordinance. What are their thoughts on this.
Thanks for the feedback, Luis. I considered this question, but it was covered in the League Of Women Voters candidates forum at minute 50. I wanted to prioritize issues that I felt were important but didn’t get talked about during that forum. You can find that segment here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3ZhHqOdsns&t=60s
Thanks for listening! Hope all is well!
